Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service
Terms of Use
By using the Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service, you are agreeing to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully:
Hours of Operation
Time Zones: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your reservation is made (e.g. the hours of operation for the call centre in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia, are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time but the hours of operation for the call centre in Fundy National Park in New Brunswick, are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Atlantic Time).
Availability of the reservation service: You can make a camping reservation starting at 7 am local park time on the day of the park’s reservation season launch up until 11:59 p.m. the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not available.
The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service is available by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783), or 1-450-505-8302 between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time, and online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.
Fees
All fees listed include all applicable taxes.
Fees payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are due at the time of your reservation. These fees are the same for reservations made online or using the telephone service.
The Reservation Fee is non-refundable and helps cover the operating cost of this Reservation Service. This fee is charged per campsite, per stay. A stay is defined as a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) within the same campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.
Camping Fees are the fees paid for the use of the campsite. These costs help cover the operating costs of the campground itself. They are charged on a per-night basis and the price is established based on the park, the campground, and the service type.
Park Entry Fees: The fees charged when you make your reservation do not include the Daily Entry Fee(s) at the national park. Daily Entry fees are charged at most national parks, where revenues are kept to support quality visitor services and facilities. This means that every time you visit a park or site you are investing in its future — and in a legacy for future generations.
You will be required to pay daily entry fees upon arrival at the park. You can now pre-pay your park entry fees with the purchase of a Discovery Pass or a Single Location Annual Pass available online at: www.parkscanada.ca/ekiosk. There are several pricing models available to ensure you get the best value for your visit(s).
Changes and Cancellations: A fee is also charged to change or cancel a previously confirmed reservation. This fee is also non-refundable and helps cover the operating cost of this Reservation Service. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80.
Methods of payment: All costs incurred through the use of this service can be paid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), certified cheque or international money order.
Certified cheques and international money orders: Certified cheques and international money orders are only accepted over the telephone; reservations using these forms of payment cannot be made on-line. When this method of payment is used, campsite reservations will not be confirmed until the payment is received and processed.
All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made.
We will inform you of your confirmation number by email or by telephone once your certified cheque or international money order payment has been received and processed.
Confirmation
Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your reservation is not complete. If you entered in an email address and your credit card information and did not receive a confirmation number, please contact us at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) to confirm whether the original reservation was completed.
It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it, along with your printed confirmation email, with you to the campground. It must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you into the campground.
You should enter your email address to receive an electronic copy of your confirmation.
Remember that if you pay for your reservation by certified cheque or international money order, you will not receive a confirmation number until your payment has been received and processed.
Changes
Changes before check-in: Changes can be done online or by telephone. You can make changes to your reservation until 2:00 p.m. (local park time) on your scheduled day of arrival. A change may include changes in date(s), campground (within the same national park), campsite type, service type, etc. You will be charged a non-refundable fee of $8.80 to make a change.
Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request once you have arrived at the campground. It is important to note that changes cannot be guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. Availability may be limited.
Leaving early: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early. This will give other campers an opportunity to enjoy the park.

Late Arrivals
Will you be arriving late? While campers may check-in to their campsite as early as 2:00pm, most campgrounds accept arrivals throughout the evening and even overnight. There are some exceptions to this check-in time (including La Mauricie and Georgian Bay Islands), so please click on the blue "Campground Information" icon on the homepage of the national park that interests you to learn their kiosk hours, as well as the "after hours registration" policy specific to that park.
You do not need to advise us if you will be arriving in the evening or overnight of your scheduled day of arrival.
If you will not be able to arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. the day after your scheduled day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact the campground directly to advise them to keep your reservation. If you do not know the telephone number for the campground, call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).
If you have not checked-in by 11:00 a.m. the day after your scheduled day of arrival, and you have not notified the campground, you will be considered a "No-Show" (see policy #15) and your reservation will be cancelled. The fees paid for your first two nights of camping; along with the original non-refundable $10.80 reservation fee will not be refunded.
No-Shows
No-Shows: If you have not checked-in at the campground by 11:00 a.m. the day after your scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of your late arrival, you will be deemed a “No-Show”. Your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite will be made available to other campers.
If you are deemed a “No-show”, you can claim a refund of all monies paid, less the original, non-refundable $10.80 reservation fee and a penalty of your first two-nights of camping by calling the Park directly within 30 days of your originally scheduled departure date.
Thirty days after your originally scheduled departure date your camping fees become non-refundable.
Closures
Closures: If Parks Canada must close a campsite or a campground for any reason, including safety, all affected reservations will be cancelled and reservation holders will be refunded all fees paid, including service fees. We do our best to provide you with as much notice as possible in these situations.
Visitors who wish to reserve a campsite after a closure is lifted, including those whose reservation was cancelled due to the closure, are required to make a new reservation as normal.
Visitors choosing to change or cancel their reservation when no closure has been officially announced or imposed by Parks Canada are subject to the regular Terms and Conditions as outlined in the Terms of Use.
